
Task Force Kapatid – Typhoon Odette
Typhoon Odette makes landfall on the southern Philippines on December 16, 2021, wreaking havoc on the City of Surigao. With 25 deaths and 26 missing persons, more over 48 thousand families were affected.
In response to the Task Force Kapatid of the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (PHILRECA), and in collaboration with the One EC Network Foundation, ISELCO II through the leadership GM David Solomon M. Siquian and BOD Chairman Walfrifo G. Binag, the cooperative conducted today, January 12, 2022 a Send Off activity of the six (6) line warriors of ISELCO II namely: Foreman Roderick M. Manabat, Angelito Tabuno, Reymund Martinez, Ricson Allapitan, Villi Vhone Cariaga and Ric Rumbaua. They will aid in the speedy rehabiliation/restoration of power lines in Surigao which were severely damaged by typhoon Odette.
