Stakeholders from the NEA and its partner EC, gather today (April 01, 2024) to discuss various issues aimed at enhancing the services of community-owned power distribution utilities to their member-consumer-owners

IN PHOTOS | Stakeholders from the National Electrification Administration (NEA) and its partner electric cooperatives (EC), consisting mostly of General Managers, gather today (01 April 2024) to discuss various issues aimed at enhancing the services of community-owned power distribution utilities to their member-consumer-owners.
Included in the agenda are the following areas of concern:
1) Fluctuating voltage in the technical systems of the co-ops;
2) Management of the EC Reinvestment Fund and the EC Retirement Fund;
3) Loan facilities to establish the advanced metering infrastructure, supervisory control and data acquisition and geographic information systems for the ECs;
4) Concerns with respect to the enhanced Integrated Computerized Planning Model (e-ICPM); and
5) Timeline of EC bidding activities.
Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda leads the 2024 NEA-EC Summit together with his deputies Atty. Rossan Rosero-Lee (Legal Services), Atty. Omar Mayo (EC Management Services), Atty. Vic Alvaro (Corporate Resources and Financial Services), and Engr. Ernesto Silvano, Jr. (Technical Services).
