The National Electrification Administration (NEA), through the amendments of the NEA Memorandum No. 2017-035 entitled “Revised Policy on the Selection, Hiring, Termination of Service/Suspension of General Managers of Electric Cooperatives (4th Revision)” dated 24 October 2017 and the NEA Memorandum No. 2018-004 entitled “Revised Policy Guidelines on the Conduct of Examination and Interview for Applicants to the Position of General Managers of Electric Cooperatives” dated 17 January 2018, further enhanced the EC organizational framework. The memoranda were approved by the NEA Board of Administrators on 29 November 2021. The amendments on the policy guidelines will equip the EC managers to handle the rising challenges in the Rural Electrification and the demands of Member-Consumer-Owners.
