NEA Nationwide Line Clearing & Tree Planting Day – Part 1
ISELCO II PARTICIPATES IN THE 1ST NATIONWIDE LINE CLEARING AND TREE PLANTING DAY IN CELEBRATION OF THE 9TH NATIONAL ELECTRIFICATION AWARENESS MONTH (NEAM)
As the celebration of the month long 9th National Electrification Awareness Month ends, Electric Cooperatives (ECs) join in wrapping up by partaking in the Line Clearing and Tree Planting.
A number of employees participated in the Tree Planting. Prior to the aforementioned activities, the employees grooved and showed best Zumba steps to warm their bodies up.
These activities are achieved to ensure continuous and sustainable services to our Member-consumer owners. Likewise, the conduct of Line Clearing aims to eradicate unwanted and unexpected Power Outages.
The ever-supportive NEA Administrator Edgardo R. Masongsong stated, “trees are a common cause of power outages and interruptions within the coverage areas of the ECs. Trees when come in contact with power lines can also cause fire and safety hazards”, he said.
This movement is in support to the government’s National Greening Program.
ISELCO II will continue to patronize these kinds of undertaking for the benefit of its Member-consumer-owners and for the consistency and reliability of its Distribution Power Lines.###
