National Line Clearing Day
The Isabela II Electric Cooperative led by General Manager David Solomon M. Siquian partook in the 3rd National Line Clearing Day activity held on July 29-31, 2020. This is in consonance with the National Electrification Administration’s 51st Year Anniversary and the 11th National Electrification Awareness Month with the theme “Charging with the future, moving for a Resilient Rural Electrification Program”.
The line clearing activity was as well undertaken in accordance with Republic Act No. 11361 “An Act Ensuring The Continuous And Uninterrupted Transmission And Distribution Of Electricity And The Protection Of The Integrity And Reliability Of Power Lines, And Providing Penalties For Violations Thereof” and the Department of Energy Circular No. DC# 2020-02-0002 “The Implementing Rules And Regulations of Republic Act No. 11361”. Its purpose is to ensure uninterrupted conveyance of electricity from generating plants to our end users, and to protect our transmission, sub-transmission lines and distribution system and finally to guarantee that our power lines remain free from dangerous activities and improvements.
