MCOPE Convention

Isabela II Electric Cooperative (ISELCO II) conducted the Member Consumer Owner Program for Empowerment (MCOPE) convention for the District Member Consumer Owner Organization (DMCOO) officers at the Alibagu Covered Court in Alibagu, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

The event was led by ISELCO II General Manager Engr. Erni G. Baggao, with the Board of Directors chaired by Dir. Sherwin A. Balloga. Also attended by Department and Branch Managers, Sub-office Heads along with MSD staff.

MCOPE was initiated by the National Electrification Administration (NEA). This program aims to foster greater involvement of Member Consumer Owners in Electric Cooperatives.
The main goal of the event was to realign MCOPE officers across districts, ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of the program in their respective areas.

ISD Manager Ms. Pinky Ann Lucas discussed the shared responsibilities between the cooperative and MCOPE officers, highlighting the importance of promoting community participation in the cooperative’s initiatives.

The program included an election for the DMCOO officers, followed by their oath-taking ceremony
