In Memory of Alvin M. Matias | January 9, 1978 – April 19, 2023

The whole NEECO I family mourns the demise of Mr. Alvin M. Matias, a senior lineman who passed away on April 19, 2023, while fulfilling his duty. He was one of the organization’s most dependable Light Warriors.
Our brother Alvin worked tirelessly to keep the power running and ensure that we have access to electricity every day. His dedication and hard work may have gone unnoticed, but we must never forget the sacrifice and risks that he took to keep us safe.
His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched and the work he did to make our world a better place. He will be remembered as a hero and a vital member of our community.
We send Mr. Matias’ grieving family and friends our sincere condolences and prayers. We pray that the Creator will provide him eternal peace.
We respect all of your creations, fallen Warrior of Light.
If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
