ENHANCING FIELD OPERATIONS WITH NEW MOTORCYCLE UNITS DISTRIBUTED TO ISELCO II METER READERS AND BILL COLLECTORS
CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA — To enhance operational efficiency and field operations, Isabela II Electric Cooperative (ISELCO II) conducted a multi-day distribution of brand-new motorcycle units for its meter readers and bill collectors (MRBCs) from March 23 to March 25, 2026, at the ISELCO II Main Office in Maharlika, Alibagu, City of Ilagan.
The series of turnover ceremonies was led by General Manager Engr. Erni G. Baggao, who emphasized the importance of providing dependable transportation to frontline personnel. The acquisition of the service vehicles was made possible through a co-equity program established between the cooperative management and its employees. This collaborative investment structure aims to equip field workers with high-quality tools for their daily operations while fostering employee engagement, shared responsibility, and long-term asset care.
According to Engr. Baggao, the deployment of these motorcycles is vital for maintaining timely meter reading schedules, streamlining bill collection processes, and improving overall customer service delivery across the cooperative’s coverage area. The additional transportation units are expected to boost the daily mobility and productivity of MRBC personnel, enabling faster response times and reliable navigation through remote and hard-to-reach rural communities.
This initiative highlights ISELCO II’s commitment to workforce empowerment through sustainable partnership programs, ensuring fast, accurate, and efficient service for all Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs).
