DOE: Government Services Brought Closer to Filipinos through Handog ng Pangulo 2026

The Department of Energy, together with various national and local government agencies, joined the Handog ng Pangulo 2026: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat to bring essential government services and assistance closer to Filipinos. Spearheaded by the Office of the President, the initiative was conducted simultaneously across the country in celebration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s birthday.

In Iloilo, DOE Secretary Sharon S. Garin encouraged Ilonggos to take advantage of government services and opportunities that can support their families, livelihoods, and future. Through Handog ng Pangulo, ₱2.83 billion worth of government services were made available to Filipinos nationwide.

“Para sa Pangulo, ang pinakamahalagang handog sa araw na ito ay ang pagkakataong makapaglingkod sa sambayanang Pilipino,” Secretary Garin said on behalf of the President. Through Handog ng Pangulo, the government continues to advance responsive public service while opening opportunities that support Filipino families, livelihoods, and communities.
