Capability Building Workshop on Competitive Selection Process (CSP)

ISELCO II represented by General Manager David Solomon M. Siquian, Chairman Walfrido G. Binag and the Third-Party Bids and Awards Committee (TPBAC) members attend the Capability Building Workshop on Competitive Selection Process (CSP) for Distribution Utilities (DUs) at Widus Hotel, Clark Pampanga. (September 5, 2019)

Discussions pertaining the (1) Power Supply Procurement Plan – role of the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) as regards the CSP; (2) Process of Approval of Selection Process of Captive Customer Representatives to the TPBAC – qualifications of members and the process of its approval. Discussions are immediately followed by an Open Forum addressing inquiries from different participating Electric Cooperatives which are answered by DOE representatives: Mario Marasigan, Rodel Limbaga and Madonna Naling.

Additional discussions followed the Open Forum: (3) Terms of Reference – basis and backbone of CSP and (4) General Overview or RA 9184 and its revised IRR and NEA Memorandum No. 2017-019 – Government Procurement Reform Act. This concludes the morning discussion of the event.
