42nd Founding Anniversary
Today, February 24, 2020, marks the 42nd Founding Anniversary of ISELCO II with the theme “Highlighting MCOs Empowerment and Innovation for a Sustainable Rural Electrification”.
The celebration commenced with a thanksgiving mass held at the Cathedral of St. Michael, Upi, Gamu, Isabela administered by Most Reverend David William Antonio, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Ilagan. Present during the mass were GM David Solomon M. Siquian, the Board of Directors chaired by Dir. Walfrido G. Binag, Committee Directors and the ISELCO II employees. In the homily of His Excellency, Bishop Antonio gave emphasis on four (4) things: that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom with which one can be able to discern the good and the bad; doing the common good; setting aside personal selfishness; and most especially consistent communication with the Lord through prayers.
The mass was followed by the blessing of the new office of the Corporate Planning Department which was officiated by Rev. Fr. Evan Blair .Cauan.
The occasion continued with a simple program at the ISELCO II grounds. The Vice Chairman of the Board, Dir. Carlito M. Uy gave his welcoming remarks. The new set of officers of the ISELCO II Supervisors Association, the Media Bureau and the Newsletter Editorial Board also took their oath with Pres. Binag and GM Siquian as administrative officers, respectively. Surprise intermission numbers were rendered by employees through a draw lots system wherein a department was picked followed by the type of entertainment to be performed. The draw lots system added a brand new feeling of excitement to the program. Likewise, all the other Board of Directors conveyed their messages during the program. A number of items were given away to the employees through an electronic raffle.
The program concluded with a simple message delivered by no less than ISELCO II General Manager David Solomon M. Siquian whereby he encouraged each employees to continue dedicating the best quality service to MCOs
