2024 Lineman Rodeo

In an extraordinary demonstration of skills and expertise, line warriors from various electric cooperatives of the Northeast Luzon Electric Cooperative Association (NELECA) participated in the 2024 Regional Rodeo Competition, held at the Isabela I Electric Cooperative (ISELCO I) Main Office,

The valiant line workers showcased their skills in a series of challenging events, including pole climbing, pole dressing and undressing, conductor riding relay, knot tying, and spine board bandaging.

Deputy Minority Leader, PHILRECA Party-list Representative Hon. Presley C. De Jesus said the rodeo was a chance to highlight the abilities of the linemen who put their lives in danger every day to maintain the flow of electricity in every household.

General Managers and Board Chairman from CAGELCO I, CAGELCO II, ISELCO I, ISELCO II, NUVELCO, and QUIRELCO, attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 NELECA LINEMEN RODEO.

The event was organized by the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA), together with the National Association of General Managers of Electric Cooperative (NAGMEC), Inc. and Northeast Luzon Electric Cooperative Association, Inc.
